What I'm trying to accomplish is a way to import the models in such a way where I don't have to apply a manual transform on a model-by-model basis. Instead, one of the models I have is at (39, 100, -43) based on my manipulations. It's supposed to be at the center of Unity's environment grid, but it's not. The issue I'm actually dealing with here is having the model be in the wrong place when I set its root position to (0, 0, 0). With the Toggle Tool Hand Position in Unity set to Center, the pivot point is placed in the center of the model. Is there a setting in Navisworks where you can force the pivot point, upon export, to be the exact center of the model?ДЄpparently, I made a serious mistake in my serious question. On import, the transform position of that model should be (0, 0, 0), and the pivot point is placed in the center of all the meshes in the model. It's most likely the coordinate systems between Navisworks and Unity are absolutely different. But for some reason, when I export the model as an FBX and import it into Unity, the pivot point in Unity where the Transform gizmo is displayed is not in the exact center of the model. On all three models, with the root element selected from the Selection Tree, I set the position in the Units and Transforms Pane to (0, 0, 0). I am not allowed to share any photos of the models. The pivot point should be at the exact center of the model this will make the scaling be applied uniformly without being displaced, as well as be able to rotate on one of its own axes.
